Understand the conversion
The same pixel file can be printed at different physical sizes. Raising the target pixel density makes the print smaller; lowering it makes the same pixels cover more inches or centimeters.
Divide the width and height in pixels by the target pixel density. The result is the physical dimension in inches.
4500 ÷ 300 = 15 inches and 5400 ÷ 300 = 18 inches. In metric units, that is 38.10 × 45.72 centimeters.

A common high-detail target for prints viewed closely.

A strong density that can work well in many print workflows.

PPI means pixels per inch and describes digital image density. DPI means dots per inch and technically describes printer output. Print providers often use “DPI” as shorthand when specifying artwork resolution, so this calculator keeps that familiar label. The conversion itself treats the value as pixels per inch.
Real output also depends on the source artwork, scaling method, printer, ink, substrate, print process, sharpening, and viewing distance. Always compare the result with your production provider's current file requirements.
